Tatted Dream Catchers

Hi,
I thought it was time I put something on this blog, so I thought I would share this little pattern with you
My dream Catchers are not anything special just a few bits of pattern put together. Its a simple pattern using a shuttle and thread.
Abbreviations, R = ring, ch = chain, - picot, + join
First round.
R 6 - 2 - 6 cl rw
Ch 5 - 5
R 6 + 2 - 6 cl rw
repeat until you have 9 rings
R 6 + 2 + 6
Ch 5 - 5 join to first chain.
This makes a small motif
Second Round
Join anywhere on the last chain.
ch 12 join to next free picot
ch 6 (add hanging ring) 6 join to next free picot
Ch 12 join to next free picot
Ch 8 - 4 join to next free picot
Ch 12 join to next free picot
Ch 6 - 6 join to next free picot
Ch 6 - 6 join to next free picot
Ch 6 - 6 join to next free picot
Ch 12 join to next free picot
Ch 4 - 8 join to the first ch
on each picot make a look as long as you required add some beads and twist, then tie, make a neat cut to make the ends tidy and the same length.
These are very small dream catchers and small enough for a card.
I hope you enjoy making them , as I said I just throw the pattern together there was no real designing in it, but please don't call it your pattern, you can make them for your personal use or sell them.

Tatted Forget me knot flower pattern

Hi,

I thought you might like the pattern I did for the forget-me-nots

Very simple and easy

1 Shuttle

I used no 20 thread

beads

All rings 8ds p 8d four rings per forget-me-not.

You can make as many as you want to make your flower.

Sew onto whatever you are putting them on sewing then into a group. I sewed the bead in the centre when I sewed the flower onto the cup cake.

What could be simpler than that

Sheila's Earrings

This is the pattern for Sheila's Earrings These earrings start with a large ring, then 2 rings hang down, the chains then go from side to side around the rings. This has not been a easy pattern to write out. Close up.

This picture shows two ways one plain and one with beads, beads are put on picots between the chains.

Abbreviations

ds Double Stitch

cl close

p picot

j join

Large Ring 2ds p 2ds p 12ds p(this is the join to the earring wire) 12ds p 2ds p 2ds cl.

Small ring 5ds p 5ds cl.

Next ring (which goes around the small ring) 10ds join to p on small ring 10ds cl.

start the chains from the join of the large ring and small rings.

1st Chain 4ds p 6ds p 6ds p 6ds p 4ds join to 1st p on large ring turn

2nd Chain 6ds p j to last chain, (8ds p j to last chain) 3 times 6ds. join to 1st p on the other side of large ring turn

3rd Chain 8ds p j to last chain, (10ds p j to last chain) 3 times 8ds join to 2nd p on the other side of large ring turn

4th Chain 10ds p j to last chain ( 12ds p j to last chain) 3 times 10 ds join to 2nd p on the other side of large ring turn.

5th Chain 2ds (p 1ds) 5 times 2ds j to p on last chain, 2ds (p 1ds) 7 times 2ds x3, 2ds (p 1ds) 5 times 2ds join the large ring on the other side.

Margarets Knitted Roses with Leaves

Hi,
This is the pattern for my Knitted Roses with Leaves. I am sure their are similar patterns but this is how I made mine.
I used double knitted on the rose pin pictured left and on the cupcake I used 4 ply, the thinner the wool the smaller the rose will be or the thicker the wool the bigger the rose will be. Both these items have been posted on my main blog
Abbreviations
sts stitches
ss stocking stitch
K knit
P purl
m1 take the first stitch of the row and purl and knit making two stitches
fwd wool forward over needle.
sl1K2tog, slip one stitch and K2 together
psso pass slip stitch over.

ROSE PATTERN


Cast on 7 sts
8 rows ss
9th row M1 knit to end 8 sts.
continue in ss
12th row K6 turn and P to end
13th P6 turn K to end
14th row K to end
15th row P to end
16th row M1 K to end
17th row P to end
18th row K7 turn p to end
19th row P 7 turn and knit to end
20th row M1 and k to end continue like this every 10 rows
25th row K to last 2sts and turn and p to end do 3 rows ss and then next row K to end.
When you get to 18sts cast off 1st purl wise every 5 rows continue with two more increase to 20sts. when you get to 13sts knit five rows then knit to last 2sts turn, next row k to last 2sts turn and continue until 3sts left on the needle K1 row and cast off. This gives you an end to tuck in and place the leaf over the tuck in thus covering up the end.


This small rose was done in the same way but finished up with 12 sts at the end.
